Day 358 – On the Final Day, A Bed

“A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor’s book.” — Irish Proverb

“Rather go to bed without dinner than to rise in debt.” -Benjamin Franklin

On the last (1st) day ’til Christmas, we selected our beds as the final item truly value. A bed is quite fitting since it’s where we start our Christmas morning tomorrow. Think of how much of your life will be spent in bed. This is why we find it so important. We spend 6-9 hours a day in our bed so it’s an important item for us to value. Having a good bed is essential for the rest of your day. Good sleep is the best way to start a day. For the majority of days, it is where everyone ends one day and starts the next. It’s a place for relaxation, reading, dreaming, fighting through sick days and getting much needed rest after tough days. It can be a difference maker in overall health with both your body and mind. If you have been considering replacing your bed, we highly suggest going for it because it can really help your mood and overall well being. Before you go to bed tonight, make sure you leave out some milk and cookies for Santa! Merry Christmas Eve, we’ll have a short post tomorrow to wish you all a happy holidays and of course share our item of the day! In conclusion, our 12 most valued items are bikes (12th), kitchen appliances (11th), a table for gathering (10th), the computer (9th), the couch (8th), a coffee maker (7th), phones (6th), shoes (5th), tools (4th), forms of entertainment (3rd), cars (2nd) and beds!

Item 358 of 360+

Today’s decluttered item is an old cutting board. This one has been used quite often now and we just didn’t need it anymore. With gifts coming from family tomorrow, don’t forget to make sure you get rid of the some of the old while you bring in all that new.
