“There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family.” – Unknown
Tomorrow is my Friendsgiving with my friends from college. We’ve been having a Friendsgiving dinner for years now and we’ve all remained close, even closer than our college years. TJ will forever be a “plus 1” as a joke, because he is just as close with everyone as I. We are truly grateful to have all the great friends we have and to be able to celebrate with some of them each year. It’s important to take a break out of our crazy lives to get together and catch up. We’re all getting married, having children, buying houses, and maintaining successful careers, however, we all come together and remember where we all came from. Starting out as poor college kids with no idea where life will take us in the coming years. We’ve really come a long way and we are all so thankful to have each other and the lives we are living today. I’ll be taking a step back and thinking about how much I’m thankful for the next week. We all get caught up in what we don’t have… what about focusing on how much we do have? Food for thought…. or should I say Turkey!
Item 323 of 360+
Today’s item is another set of old cables/wires that were tucked away in a drawer. I know we all have this drawer in our homes, when’s the last time you cleared it out?
