I had a phone call with a friend tonight and we got to discussing the 360 in 365 day challenge Amalia and I are trying to complete. It really got me thinking, why did we start this whole thing in the first place? It was for decluttering the unnecessary items in our lives, not for writing blogs. I’ve noticed recently that I feel a bit burnt out from writing every day but the beauty of it is we really don’t have to. We don’t have to do any of this but we do want to continue our challenge of decluttering 360 items this year and share our journey. So this is my announcement, there may be days where there is no blog post with the items. I find it quite freeing knowing that there isn’t a need for blogs every single day. The truth of the matter is, when this challenge started, we had so much extra time, simply because there wasn’t a lot of things going on. It was winter, it was the pandemic, and we were in a 100% work from home status. We barely left the house, so of course we could make time to write a long blog and add an item. Now, with the current wedding craziness and just our normal lives, we have found it increasingly more difficult to write one everyday. We already planned on taking a break for the wedding weekend coming up but I feel like it will be more practical to do it less. On a positive note, we will have better ideas and more time to write blogs when we do choose to add it with the item any given day. If anything, this has taught us that time management is important and we can handle writing blogs for over 100 days in a row, but we shouldn’t quit our day jobs as my Grandma would always say. Now of course we will still say something about the items and still try to make fun and interesting blogs, it just will not be a daily occurrence like the past. I hope our lovely followers and friends can understand where we are coming from.

Today’s item is a striped long sleeve t-shirt. This item is the start of a clothes clean-out I did for the start of the summer. This is a good reminder to everyone to switch out your clothes and to get rid of anything that you haven’t worn or don’t plan to wear this year.
