TJ and I got back from California a few days ago and we are adjusting back to our normal lives. It was a fantastic trip and it was my first time on the west coast let alone California. It was great to spend time with friends, family, and TJ. It’s interesting how you have friends and family living in other parts of the country or even world and some people never end up visiting them. There’s a lot of cases I know where wherever the majority of the family lives, they expect those people who live outside the area to be the ones to always come for the visit. TJ and I, however, like to get out and visit our family just as much as they visit us. I think it’s important to see where your friends and family put down their roots as it gives a better understanding as to who they are and the type of environment and community they prefer. TJ and I have visited my family in Ireland, his family in Switzerland, his friends and family just recently California, and our friends in Georgia. If you have been meaning to get out and visit them or even never considered it before, you really might want to start planning your trip! (With the permission of the people you are visiting with of course.)
Time is very precious and the “coulda, shoulda, wouldas” should be left behind you as you will regret it if you don’t just plan the trip. Not only will it benefit you as you’d be going on a nice trip, but it shows the people you are visiting that you care about them enough to travel out there and spend time with them. I appreciate the friends and family in my life so very much and have always tried to be the “glue” to keep myself in touch with everyone. If you can’t get out and visit your loved ones, even just a phone call once in a while makes the world of difference. Communication is key as it too shows how much you care about someone. Now pick up the phone to say hi and even plan your next adventure!

Today’s item is a set of stress stars that TJ had at work. Clutter can accumulate everywhere, including your office! Time to say goodbye to these guys as TJ has no need for them any longer.
