“America is know as a country that welcomes people to its shores. All kinds of people.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Today marks two days before 4th of July, or Independence Day. People are getting together this year to celebrate even bigger due to the Covid situation being more under control. It’s a time to celebrate America, what you’re grateful to have, and also yourself. As I was preparing food for a Fourth of July party like most people currently are, I was grateful for my house. Last year, I was preparing foods that were easy to make and that didn’t require much skill to make due to a very small kitchen and lack of kitchen equipment/gadgets. I was making the food today in our new big kitchen and was loving preparing the potluck foods due to the ease of having a bigger kitchen now. I’m so grateful to have a home now that I share with the hubby TJ and Luna doggo of course that we can call our own. We are very grateful for our jobs, opportunities/freedoms, and our overall lives. I’m happy with how things are living in America and like to reflect on what I’m grateful for in this great country. Plus the fireworks are always cool!
