Day 182 – Halfway Point

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt

“You don’t jump out of an airplane and stop halfway. It’s all the way.” – Jesse White

Good thing this isn’t a plane. We are at what I would like to call the halfway point of the 360 in 365 challenge. I’m calling 182 halfway because tomorrow we will be more than halfway and we have already gone past our halfway point of our goal of 360 items this year. 182 items is a lot considering we have had plenty of times where we included multiples of things. We are happy to report that it has been making a difference, so much so that it’s becoming hard to find more items to declutter. The important part right now is to focus on the positives though. One hundred and eighty two straight days of decluttering items and posting it on our blog. What an accomplishment, it’s crazy. Regardless of where the challenge leads us, I am proud of what we have been able to do up to this point. Our closets and house in general thanks us as we have cleared out many items we no longer needed. Our wallets also thank us as we have cut down on a lot of bills including getting rid of the new truck for a used car and cutting the cable bill. Things like this go a long way and I’m excited to continue this journey. How is everyone else doing halfway into the year? The best question to ask yourself is “Am I still working on the goals I set at the beginning of the year?” If the answer is no, well then why? If the answer is yes, keep on pushing through.

Item 182 of 360+

Today’s decluttered item is one of Amalia’s bag. It looks brand new and I’m sure someone will get some good use out of it!
