“The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.” -Karen Blixen
“Don’t sweat the petty things and don’t pet the sweaty things.” -George Carlin
Yesterday was one of those long days filled with sadness to start, a few laughs, a little too much alcohol, not the best choices for food and not enough sleep for a few different reasons. There will always be a time where you throw your discipline out the window. First of all, I like to tell myself it’s ok to do that once in a while, you need a break from being discipline with dieting and lifestyles. The real focus is on your overall bigger goal and how you approach everyday, not the one off setbacks. The question is how do you plan for or overcome these types of days?
So yes, I didn’t have the healthiest day ever yesterday but here’s what I did do. I got up early and got in a workout prior everything that followed yesterday. The weeks prior for the most part, I was discipline which is more important than the one day I am not. Then today, I woke up a bit sluggish but I made sure to get to the gym and have plenty of water to get me right back on track to living a healthy life. It’s the “sweat it out” mentality, rid the mistakes of yesterday, workout a little harder today and keep being discipline to overcome the small shortfalls. This is what helps people persevere on their fitness and wellness goals along the imperfect journey. I hope this can motivate others to not let a little road bump stop them from seeing the big picture and overall goal they are trying to achieve.
Item 087 of 360+
Today’s item is another Funko Pop figure, this time of Crowley from Supernatural. He was one of the coolest characters (in our opinion) because he started off as evil and had a really interesting character progression throughout the series. We no longer need this item and we hope someone new will appreciate this collectible.
