Day 86 – Jumpstart Your Day

“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” –Milton Berle

“There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you.” –Derek Jeter

I have a challenge for you today or the next time you wake up. The challenge is to jumpstart your day and see what the results bring. What I mean by jumpstart is to wake up at that first (maybe 2nd) alarm, get out of bed and do something you wouldn’t normally do. It’s simple, no better time than simple Saturday to try to make a simple yet impactful improvement to your day. Now, of course, you may want to start by still brushing your teeth but make your first activity something you need to do or something that you gain value from.

Last night, I was laying in bed thinking about our day and how I would like to fit in some time for personal health and fitness. The only free time I had would be the free time I could create in the morning, building my own door. I was left with a decision to make, skip something I wanted to do for a little extra sleep or to jumpstart my day. I chose the latter, I’m at the gym getting in some cardio while writing this post. Let us know if you will be trying this out and if you have any suggestions on other ways to jumpstart a day.

Item 086 of 360+

Today’s item is my old iPhone 7 that surprisingly works. The reason I say surprising is because this phone has a story behind it. I broke it back in 2018 falling down a set of stairs at a Disney World Resort. This was not the worst part of the fall as I also broke four of my ribs in the fall and hit my head pretty hard. So this item holds not so great memories for me and now that it turns on again somehow, I will be selling it on eBay to be gone with this cursed phone. Yet another not serving a purpose decluttered. Now this phone will say Hello to its new owner soon enough.
